I have been seeing Dr Allen for my COPD for approximately 15 years. I have found Dr Allen to be a very caring physician interested in my personal activities. I live 92 mi North of Dr Allen's office. Several years ago due to the increasing difficulty of traveling 92 mi each way for an appointment I wanted to change pulmonary physicians. When I ask ed my cardiologist for a recommendation I was told there were none within 60 miles that were of the same caliber as Dr Allen. As another reviewer stated he explains why he is doing or recommending a treatment and any other options available. If you do some research online as I do about my condition you can then ask some intelligent questions and he will give you a very thorough answer I would recommend Dr Allen to anyone who has any lung problems I am continuing with Dr Allen but are now going to stay in a motel overnight when I have any future appointment
