She felt called to health care because it requires finesse and dedication and provides a constant challenge to treat complex and unique patients. She received her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, horseback riding, fishing and cycling.
