My wife had developed a giant abdominal wall hernia followed by multiple abdominal surgeries in the past. She was also facing frequent bowel obstruction needing a colorectal surgery. Though the colorectal surgeon. Dr. Patrick Sullivan at Emory University Hospital, have identified a surgical path to address the cause for her frequent obstruction, he needed the best General surgeon to join him to help with the closure after the laparotomy, by repairing her giant hernia. Dr. Scott Davis partnered with Dr. Sullivan and performed an extremely complex hernia repair to make her whole procedure successful.It’s been 7 months so far, and she is making good progress. We were, in fact, planning to go to Minnesota or Maryland for the surgery and glad that we found the expertise here in Atlanta itself. Also, the care and the facilities at Emory University Hospital has been amazing. Thank you Dr. Scott Davis and Dr. Sullivan for your expertiseThank You!
