Many physicians & specialists missed my diagnosis. Dr Hoggan took so many vials of blood, & listened to everything I said, even in casual conversation...always looking for clues. He suddenly stopped me, mid-sentence, saying, "Hold on...I need to go look up something you just said. I'll be right back." It was a little thing - something no patient, & MOST doctors would never link to my diagnosis. But because Dr. Hoggan is always reading & striving to increase his knowledge...he holds a never-ending WEALTH of information in his own mental library. My casual words sparked his mind to something he had read in a medical journal recently. It was the clue that lead his investigation toward my final diagnosis, which had a very unusual presentation. Dr. Hoggan is not like many doctors. He is never condescending. No air of superiority as though he already knows everything. He CARES! So, he studies...knowing there's ALWAYS more to learn. He's a personable, Patient-Puzzle MASTER!
