I have been suffering from herniated discs for over 5 years. particularly the L5/S1. I tried PT many times. I started experiencing pain/numbness and loss of strength in my leg/foot. I tried PT and epidurals again but nothing seemed to help. I was recommended Dr. Huang.Dr. Huang is a true professional. During our appointment he was very informative, explained everything in detail, he did not rush me with my questions or concerns. After our discussion and reviewing the mri's, he laid out all options and explained what could and/or couldn't happen with whatever path I choose. He was not pushy at all for one way or the other. I slept on it for a week. After weighing the options I decided to go through with the Microdiscectomy (Microdecompression) surgery.Dr. Huang and the entire HSS team were amazing. They made me feel extremely comfortable and confident moving forward with the procedure. I just had it done and i'm not even in too much pain as of now. Im confident in Dr Huang and HSS
