About Me
Care Philosophy

If you expect to see hunting trophies from around the world adorning your dentist’s office our office may not be your first choice. Sports memorabilia, marble columns and unctuous staff are also notably missing. What you will see is an attractively designed office with comfortable chairs and a separate kids’ nook. My office is not a monument to myself. It’s a beautiful, efficient fun office and I love to do dentistry there.
We want to know what you want and expect from us. In fact, my patients often ask me why I haven’t mentioned certain esthetic issues that they themselves have noticed. To this I reply that I don’t want to make them self-conscious if they are satisfied with their smiles. I will never attempt to sell dental work by means of belittling a patient or playing on his insecurities. Now, if you want a complete smile makeover that’s great. But you’ll never get the hard sell. I can’t stand being on the receiving end of that and I won’t do it to others.I prefer a conservative approach to dentistry. My goal is to keep my patients in great dental health with minimal intervention. So much of it is up to you, the patient, that I occasionally get frustrated. I love car analogies and here’s one to illustrate the last point: I am like a mechanic and the patient has the car I am working on. Some clients take meticulous care of their vehicles, some do not. The client who never changes his car’s oil, never gets new tires and jerks his car around with abandon is going to have a piece of junk for a car eventually. Unfortunately for my patients it’s way easier to trade out cars than it is to trade out teeth.
