Patient Reviews
Nov 03, 2019
My son has been a patient of Dr. Roger Challop for 11 years. Dr. Challop is a wonderful pediatrician affiliated with Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He has broad, extensive experience with children’s health, an excellent education, is highly respected by colleagues in the medical community, and he has a personable disposition. Dr. Challop enjoys helping children grow up healthy, he is fatherly, patient and really cares. Unlike many young modern doctors, Dr. Challop is “old school” in his diligence, patience and his “hands-on” scientific approach to health, and he is thorough and rigorous, requiring children to visit Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for full blood tests. Among his many areas of expertise, Dr. Challop has particular pediatric lead poison specialty, and he worked successfully with my 4-year-old son to reduce a high blood lead level dramatically within months. In Fall, 2019, his new office address is 128 Fort Washington Ave near 164th St, New York, NY 10032. (212) 795-6000.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
