I just had extensive, major mitral valve and tricuspid valve repair surgery performed by Dr. Varghese and his team. Before the operation, I was tired, fatigued, had shortness of breath all day and basically could not function. The repair was a success and I could not have asked for a better outcome from the surgery and aftercare. After the surgery my breathing is back to normal. The valve was so damaged, that I feel only Dr. Varghese and his team would have the expertise to repair the valve, and not replace. The operation was performed at MT Sinai Hospital in NY. The care after surgery was superb, which allowed me to be released after 5 days. It is now two weeks after my Hospital release, and I am healing and feeling stronger each day.
