I saw Dr. Atkinson for trigger thumb. I've been dealing with this issue conservatively without any luck. We tried an injection at this visit. I waited for less than 5 minutes to see him and he was quick, but I didn't feel rushed. He did an exam and explained the process of the injection, what to expect during and after, and also provided a pamphlet for a visual explanation of trigger finger. I left feeling informed and part of my care team. Also I think it is important to note that my experience at Dr. Atkinson's office was also great due to his and his staff's kind disposition. Every person I came into contact with seemed happy to help and answer any question I had (special Mahalo to Thelma and Taylor). It shows how much they care about your experience as a patient.
