I just had gallbladder surgery Tuesday April 25 2017 and I was lucky to get Dr Shontz as my anesthesiologist. Not only is he a Hawkeye fan/graduate (always a plus) but made sure I understood everything and was very personable. My procedure went great and I'd definitely recommend him if you get a choice for your next procedure.
