Dr. Van Allan is amazing! I was told how wonderful of a doctor he is and I trust the person who told me that. I am now able to give MY thoughts as I have met him. I met Dr. Van Allan the morning of my surgery (he was not a random doctor sent for surgery, this surgery was planned so that Dr. Van Allan could be there as a very important person to help my surgery go as planned). It is the little things i notice. When he came into pre-op, he sat down next to me so I didn't have to look up at him standing. His bedside manner was fantastic, he was polite, kind, relaxed (which helped ME relax). We talked for a bit bringing further peace of mind! My surgery was a success! I highly recommend Dr. Van Allan to anyone looking for a competent, knowledgeable interventional radiologist.
