Patient centered, aggressive ressussitative management of the critically ill patient in order to achieve the best clinical outcome based on the disease process being treated. To continuously strive to keep the family informed regarding the critical care decisions which apply to their family members care. To explain all aspects of the disease process and care provided in a manner which the patient and family can understand. Trough the entire process ensure that the patient's comfort is addressed and treated through out their critical illness.
