How likely are you to recommend Dr. Golden?

I was a patient of Dr. Golden’s for 14 years. I went to 2 neurologists for what felt like “electrical“ activity in my brain. The one at Mayo basically told me I was imagining it. The second one didn’t diagnose them as seizures but she did put me on Kepra. She was so rude and cold and didn’t know what was wrong with me. Someone, I don’t remember who, referred me to Dr. Golden. He wasn’t taking on new patients but somehow, I got in to see him and he took me on as a patient. He was the only doctor who immediately knew what was going on and he ordered a pet scan which confirmed that the two temporal lobes in the back of my brain were misfiring, causing me to have simple partial seizures. Finally I was able to have my normal life back. On a scale of 1 star to 5 stars, I would give him 10 stars. He was my advocate, he took the time to really get to know me, he spent as much time with me as I needed, he educated me and he cared. I was so sad when he retired. Love him!
