Truly an excellent pediatrician. Dr. Reucar Quijada sat with my mom and I for much longer than any other doctor in all the downtown pediatric centers including Columbia Presbyterian children's hospital (which we have unfortunately visited 3 times this year). The doctor went over every possible scenario and event that could be wrong with my toddler in relation to pulmonology and potential asthma. As a worried mom who’s kid has been sick all year, I finally felt comfortable and there were no unanswered questions. The medical assistants were thorough, the girls in the front were professional and kind. I was pleased and impressed to learn that they can draw blood right there and gave me my baby’s results within seconds! (i don't think they can do that for everyone) I came home to share my thoughts w my husband on the great service & doctor we saw. This goes to show that the “best” Downtown clinics are not necessarily the best. So far this doctor has been the best in our book.
