We were concerned about the initial diagnosis from our pediatrician, because it didn’t really fit, and because we felt like we were very much in need of guidance in what to and not to do it the initial diagnosis was accurate. Dr. Chalom may be a fast talker, but he took the time to have cordial introductions and then let us say all that we could about the issue before he started. He also clearly looked at our son’s chart, the information that we provided for this TeleMed visit, and the initial diagnosis before this visit. He spent more time with us explaining what we need to do to manage our son’s illness, and for how long he needed to be away from other children than our own pediatrician, whom we trust very much. We now have much less anxiety about our little boy and why he has not been acting like himself, even with symptoms that didn’t lead us non medical professionals to think that his symptoms were connected with his behavior changes. We wish we could see Dr. Chalom in person.
