Care Philosophy

Most women anticipate a GYN visit for weeks, or even months in advance, some with dread, and many have issues and questions that they've prepared and practiced. Too often their ideas get lost or squashed when the doctor rushes through the exam, dominates the conversation, gets absorbed in typing in the computer, and abruptly leaves for the next patient. This has unfortunately become "the only way to run a business" and stay profitable for office practices.
My care philosophy involves listening to what a patient wants to tell me. And I'll give her a little time and space to communicate with me. I've made professional and personal sacrifices in order to continue to offer my patients the attention they hope to get from a doctor they've waited so long to see.
