My Stepmom ended up in the ICU, with him as her primary doctor there. He told us she was near death, and simply what was happening in her body, but he did so in a thorough, comforting, and consoling manor. I must say too, the way Dr. Barfield answered mine and my father's questions, supported us, and comforted us through the journey was A-#1.He's one of those rare doctors you find that treats you and your family like they are his own family as well, as far as care and supporting their loved ones goes.I highly recommend him, and I thank him so much for helping my family cope with the difficult situation we were in.
