A patient normally doesn't relish visiting an oncologist due to the nature and the reason for the visit. However, my experience as a patient of Dr. Beg was a very pleasant one indeed. She was extremely knowledgeable, she put me at ease, she was sympathetic to my concerns, she offered options for treatment and guided me to make a decision that was suitable for me. I have already referred a friend to Dr. Beg and my friend is looking forward to meeting her. Dr. Beg, you are one top notch doctor!

Care Philosophy
- After graduating with honors in medical school, Dr. Rasha Beg completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was awarded a Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, where she provided both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as consultative services she also helped to build and implement the cancer program for the hospital. During her Fellowship, Dr. Beg acquired expertise in performing bone marrow aspiration and was also responsible for teaching and supervision of residents and interns at Scott and White Memorial. Dr. Beg has been a practicing medical oncologist in Florida since 2008 and has worked in both clinical and hospital settings, including Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, The Woodlands in Pensacola, where she saw patients in four hospitals and two outpatient clinics, and, most recently, 21st Century Oncology in Crestview, FL.
