I had ear infections from ~5yr old to 19 years old. Progressively getting worse over time, I was referred to Dr. Folker around 13 years of age by my family doctor after repeated tube surgeries for allergy shots which helped the right ear, but my left ear was just to far gone at that point. Chronic Otitis Media I believe was the technical term (recurring swimmers ear, though I didn't swim at that point.) A few invasive surgeries later with the final surgery being a rare one (Canal wall down tympanomastoidectomy [removal of a part of the inner ear],) but effective, seemed to resolve my issues along with taking an allergy pill every day since. Combined with controlling my own health and environment, it's rare for me to get an ear infection or have any issues with my ears anymore.Can't thank him enough and I hope he reads this review, never did get to thank him.I read the critical reviews...and I can't say this is how I remember him, he was patient and to the point.
