Patient Reviews
Feb 12, 2024
I am now 5 years out from Dr Cohen repairing an avulsed meniscus and not a week goes by without my offering up thanks to him. He clearly explained what was involved (I was impressed by his ability to tailor his communication to my level of understanding) and encouraged my participation in the decision to move forward with surgery. I was back to 100% functionality (particularly full flexion during yoga) within 6 months following the procedure. I would absolutely recommend him, as well as Northwell (effortless scheduling, prompt and courteous follow-up, and clear and transparent communication).

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
