Dr. Awwad was fantastic to deal with. He is efficient, but cares about his patients, even if the actual issue is outside of his specialty. I went to him after suffering chronic sinus issues for months that multiple rounds of antibiotics didn't help with. He scoped my nostrils and ordered a CT scan, but based on my symptoms and a clear nasal endoscopy suspected that I was suffering from sinus migraines. It was immediately validating, as I had previously seen other doctors (including a neurologist) for migraines and had been dismissed as not having them, but hadn't realized that migraines could cause sinus pain and congestion! The CT scan also came back clear, so he was willing to work with me to come up with the next best course of action and have my records sent to a headache specialist. While it turns out that my issues were not ENT related, it was awesome having a doctor listen to me, and help me come up with next steps for a treatment plan that other doctors had dismissed.
