Dr Mabry treated me for a very very serious condition 20 years in which for unknown reasons my spleen began killing off all my blood platelets. He first saw me in the hospital and told me he was optimistic that the condition would resolve in a few days. Then he came to tell me that 'I had just become an interesting case'. He devoted his heart and soul into determining what might be going wrong, explaining what he was doing and why each and every visit -- which was several days a week for about 8 months!. He consulted with specialists and provided life saving medications with skill. He often called me ( and sometimes me and my wife together) to come into his private office and update us and tell us what he was doing. He conveyed a GENUINE compassion. I felt cared for and I fully trusted him. You could see his devotion to resolve my problem. At one point, he advised me that it had reached the point where my spleen might need to be removed in a final attempt to get my blood platelet numb
