I have been seeing dr. Eisenberg at the Montefiore's Office in the Bronx and Westchester. Dr. Eisenberg is extremely smart, inquisitive and compassionate. Dr. Eisenberg demonstrated out-of-the box thinking, took her time to get to the bottom of a complex immune issue, communicated the results in an effective way, and pointed to necessary literature as needed. I got my answers and came out with a treatment plan. I ended up in a much better place health-wise and developed a great doctor-patient relationship. Such a smart and compassionate doctor who genuinely tries to help is a blessing. Cannot thank Dr. Eisenberg enough.

About Me
Care Philosophy
- Rachel Eisenberg, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Allergy and Immunology department at Children?s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). She is also an Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with a variety of allergic diseases, including asthma, food allergies, eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, allergic rhinitis, contact dermatitis, and anaphylaxis. She is also interested in pediatric immunodeficiency and inflammasome disorders. Dr. Eisenberg received her Doctor of Medicine in 2013 at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. In 2016, she completed a residency at CHAM. She then completed a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore in 2018. Dr. Eisenberg has had her work on myelodysplastic syndrome in patients with CVID, and zinc deficiency and its role on the immune system published. She has published multiple case series on patients with novel mutations of immunodeficiency and inflammasome disorders. She has presented for several webinars and at a national meeting. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Clinical Immunological Society, the Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the World Allergy Organization.
