Dr. Swigris spends the time you need to help with the problem you came in to see her for. If there are more concerns than she can thoroughly cover without totally throwing her schedule off, she'll have you reschedule. But the most important things one looks for in a Primary care dr., she possesses. She has incredible empathy, there's absolutely no judgment, she takes the time to hear your concerns and answer your questions, making sure she's answered them to your satisfaction. She's thorough. I have an extensive and complicated medical history, it's not easy staying on top of and juggling everything, but she does, with few exceptions. When she hasn't, she's willing to hear the criticism or concern and discuss it. Sure, I occasionally get mad at her or think she didn't take something seriously enough, but it's RARE, and I'm a patient who "gets" to spend a lot of time with heir doctors. She's my favorite.
