Dr Kumar made me a better patient. I download my labs before my visit and discuss any values out of range and if and how I can change my diet/lifestyle to be healthier. I am never a "file" but a person. It was hard to inform him that I was moving to the other side of the country and would miss the personal care. I only hope to find a new nephrologist as good as he has been for the past 10 yrs.
