My 76 yr old mom just had her very first surgery yesterday. She unfortunately had to be treated for Cervical Radiculopathy. Her surgery needed to be done asap as there was a potential for nerve damage each day that passed. We met with the surgeon a week and a half ago. When he walked into the room all I could think is how young he looked. I wondered if he would be qualified enough. His name was Dr. Philip Mark Sinatra, MD. Apparently he ended up being older than he looked, was more than qualified, and I will never make that judgement again. As I sit here, nearly 36 hours after the surgery, I have no words to express my gratitude toward this surgeon, staff, and every single nurse that we came into contact with these past 2 days. I have trusted Kaiser to take care of my family for nearly 30 years. As usual, they provided miracles to us. My mom is a new person today thanks to Dr Sinatra and Kaiser Hospital. She is pain free and will get to have many more years to enjoy her life
