Dr. Nguyen is very smart and has compassion for his patients. He can be tough at times, but I know it comes from a good place because he cares about patient outcomes. I have been seeing him for over 10 years and don't foresee any changes. I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen to anyone with kidney issues. I saw another nephrologist over 10 years ago and it felt almost as if he was following a script with no personalized care whatsoever, Dr. Nguyen takes the time to look at me as an individual patient and recommend the best courses of action for whatever I'm dealing with. There was a time when I was in the ER with a pulmonary embolism and was very nervous about what the outcome would be and Dr. Nguyen took the time to come down to the ER in the middle of the day to see me and reassure me that everything was under control.
