Any other review that has gotten a bee in their bonnet about being 'accused' of being an addict: MAYBE the doctor who referred them for psychiatric care was incorrect in sending them to Dr. Martin. He is, of course, an addiction specialist. Also, if that wasn't the case then you can't fault a person for finding pathology in someone when you're seeing multiple addicts every day, sometimes DOZENS, and it is fresh on your brain. Methinks the lady doth protest too much... Why? I realize everyone has different experiences, but I am a former patient (actually looking him up to find one of his studies) and my partner at the time was also a patient: he's a pleasant man, he can definitely tell if/when is someone is being dishonest, he is exceedingly intellgent but, in my opinion, not arrogant --at least not in comparison to other white, older, male doctors (Yes, it's an issue.) If you are looking for a doctor, he and Finlayson can't be beat. They're there to help.
