Patient Reviews
Jul 30, 2016
I have been seeing Dr. Peter Coleman for quite a few years. He is the best therapist that I have ever had. He specializes in talk-therapy, i.e. 50 minutes of talking. This is hard to find these days. Usually a psychiatrist only specializes in medications. He is of the "old-school". He does not like to use medication and that goes for adults as well as for children and adolescents. If he does prescribe medications he can see if the medications are helping the patient during therapy.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
