Wonderful experience with Dr. Szotek. At first, I was a bit apprehensive with the virtual format but having experienced it I would say that my actual contact with Dr. Szotek was higher than the traditional approach. Through the Klara App, contact and response were practically immediate including weekends. I never waited more than a few minutes to have a question answered. The initial consultation included reviewing the images and going over all the details in a very relaxed manner at home without having to wait in an office. Post procedure, rather than spend time calling, waiting for a response, getting an appointment and going to his office, I just uploaded pictures of my surgical site, and Dr. Szotek responded. This is where medicine is headed, and it is a positive step forward. Dr. Szotek is a leader in all facets of hernia surgery from robotic to traditional.
