If I could I would give 10 stars! Not only is Dr. Gigante an outstanding, talented and brilliant surgeon, his bedside manner is extraordinary. I have never encountered such a compassionate, caring doctor. He performed a TLIF On November 29 and the excruciating pain that I was encountering in both of my legs prior to the surgery is totally gone. I had a prior spinal fusion 4 years ago performed by a different surgeon so the thought of going through another major surgery was terrifying. However, from the moment I met with both Dr. Gigante and his PA Fred, as well as his office staff, I knew I was in the best hands possible. Dr. Gigante was extremely thorough and explained in great detail what had to be done. While in the hospital, and at home, I had to make a couple calls outside of office hours, and Dr Gigante calls his own patients back and does not make you feel like you are bothering him rather quite the opposite. Dr. Gigante and the practice are the best!!!

- Originally a DC native Dr Hoffman s interest in medicine began in High School when she joined the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad getting certified as an Emergency Medical Technician at the age of 17 She then attended Brown University obtaining a BA in Economics and continued her training at Brown University Medical School She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore MD Dr Hoffman elected for an additional year of training in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital the largest regional referral center for acute spinal cord injury patients In her spare time she is an avid runner having completed 5 marathons in addition to her favorite local races including the Cherry Blossom 10 mile and the Bethesda Turkey Chase To learn more about Dr Hoffman please visit her website at www evehoffman com
