Dr. Gera is an excellent anesthesiologist. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Gera. I would recommend him to everyone. From first meeting him til it was time to leave the outpatient hospital. Which total time for the total knee replacement and leaving the outpatient hospital was 3 hours. He was there for me the whole time. The only thing I remember was being wheeled into the operating room. I have heard stories about how painful this surgery was, and the stories weren't good. This is my third day after surgery and I have had ZERO pain. He does a process called nerve blocking. If he could bottle it I would buy it! I have had numerous operations and have had pain to some degree after surgery. But have had no pain with Dr. Gera as my anesthesiologist. He makes you feel like the most important person in the world. He is the greatest.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
