About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Always striving for excellence, Dr. Finger performs, supervises or coordinates every aspect of each patients care. He knows of no other eye cancer specialist who continually monitors and posts their results on his web site. He believes outcome monitoring should be part of every specialists practice. Though he welcomes second opinions, he cautions patients that not all doctors have his 35-years experience, many have different treatment philosophies and almost none track (and post) their results.

Dr. Finger has spent years creating a warm and caring environment at The New York Eye Cancer Center. Here we try to keep waiting times to a minimum, help patients navigate their insurance plans and let patients know the results of their tests. In fact, Dr. Finger has placed large 55" 4K screens in every examination room to show and explain each patient problems, progress and successes. Dr. Finger gets compliments each day related to his caring and efficient office staff.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
