We brought our son to Dr. Accardo when he was 1 and a half. Dr. Accardo ran a series of tests on the spot and diagnosed him. He also requested that we have our son's hearing checked, which I had suspected was also a problem, and found that our son was, in fact functionally deaf. Dr. Accardo is a leader in his field, has written, co-written, and edited around 50 textbooks for medical students on the subject of child developmental psychology and neurology, and I am so grateful that we had the good fortune to be referred to him for evaluation. I highly recommend him and his staff.
