It is such a positive experience seeing Dr. Providence. I had another internist years ago who was excellent but always made me so anxious. Dr. Providence is just as thorough, always on top of things, meticulous about keeping me up to date about mammograms, bone density, and so on. She takes all the time that is needed to talk about any problems I might have. She is a rarity. We need more internists like her. I worry about the scarcity of internists in a time when the money goes for specialists. She answers messages. She is a reason I would stay in NYC and at NYP.
