He took time to decide whether to operate, but after he did, he did expert work screwing my fractured pelvis back together following my being hit by a car. Very nice guy, smart, friendly, focused, clear-spoken, and patient. Obviously skilled technically. He / his team did fail to get in touch with my wife afterward (for over a day), so some double-checking / quality control in that regard would be good. After I barked about this he did call her and review matters at some length.
