For once I hit the jackpot. This physician was assigned to me. I was given no choice in the matter. That was very difficult for me as my habit is to conduct extensive research before making most all important decisions, especially selecting doctors.Dr Koney is a very rare gem of a doctor and a human being. I found him to be an attentive listener, a compassionate human being, a diplomatic, creative problem solver. I was able to have informative, intelligent exchanges of information related to my health condition & procedures needed, what I personally needed to feel safe., etc. Unlike some other medical providers I've interacted with who assumed I knew nothing, he did not talk down to me. Maybe I'm biased but that trait is so uncommon in way too many male professionals.I hope to return to this site later after I've had a chance to properly rewrite this review in order to give him the full credit and respect he' so deserves, but I wanted to get this on the record before that time.
