In the midst of the industrial size Northwestern Hospital Complex, Dr. Stone approaches and treats patients with the attention, skill and interest rarely seen today. He is not only one of the leaders of cardiology today, but you can tell that he takes a significant interest in and responsibility for his patients. I completely trust myself to his care.

I think the key elements are the three C's - caring, communication, and competence in the area involved. I like to be sure I listen to the patient carefully and understand what they want, and try to redirect the efforts into what they need.
