My 1st visit was perfect. Personable. Good listener and explained what he could do for my issue. I had been suffering with a back issue for 1 1/2 years and didn't realize it was my lower back. The discomfort was in my left buttock and eventually all the way down to my foot. After my PCP told me twice that it was my back, I finally went to an orthopedic doctor. After having x-rays and a steroid shot in my left hip(assumed it was bursitis) and a PT work order, it became worse. I did all I knew to try and relieve the discomfort. Went back for a follow up and had more x-rays and finally wrote me an MRI work order. MRI showed it was L4 & L5 slippage. So, that would mean surgery, if PT didn't help. PT helped my core some ,but not the issue. I decided if I was going to have spine surgery, I want no other person than a specialist only in that field. Dr. Shah was the specialist I chose to take care of my spine issue. Forever grateful !!!!
