I was admitted to the emergency room at Nyack Hospital in April of 2021 with level 10 pain from herniated disks pinching a nerve. I was given pain medication and Dr. Patel performed an epidural. I then started only taking the pain medication when i stated feeling the pain again or else how would I find out when or if the epidural was effective. Sure enough the pain subsided 4 days later. No medication since. I continue my PT daily in fear of this ever happening again. Just be aware there will be serious constipation with the pain meds. i wish Nyack hospital better prepared me for that. But they rocked overall!
