I saw Dr. Mollberg yesterday for my initial visit and am scheduled for surgery next week. He was very kind and caring and took time to explain everything to me. I was very comfortable with him. It is very important to me when I see a physician, that I feel that they have excellent skills, but also have a nice bedside manner and seem to care about the patient and their family. I very much felt this from my short visit with Dr. Mollberg.

Care Philosophy
  • Dr Mollberg had a family member who went through having surgery for a cancer, which drove him to become a physician and his desire to help people. He was moved by how much impact the surgeon had not just on my family member, but the family as a whole. Dr Mollberg has a special interest in thoracic oncology. He enjoys tending to his farm and hanging out with his family. I have a patient-centered approach to care. I try not to focus on the particular disease, but what the needs of the patient are as a whole.
