I visit Dr. Rao and admire him greatly. His support staff varies greatly in quality and professionalism as does medical office staffing everywhere in the desert. He's responsive to patients who are well prepared with questions. If not, he's in and out in a few minutes. Patients must be able to assert themselves. Dr. Rao has performed 2 angioplasties on me at Desert Med Ctr. The hospital staff has undergone negative qualitative care changes in the CATH LAB since 2016. My most recent angio was far less convenient and informative. Their long standing pro care team has left.
