Dr. Horiuchi is by far the best Primary Care Physician I've come across to date. It took me over 6 yrs to find such a caring, thorough physician. First appointment lasted 3 hours and although she is extremely busy and popular with her patients, she makes sure you are her priority when you're there. She's already overhauling my care so that I can drop a few meds and be on my way to feeling much better! Be warned, she is incredibly busy so getting appts will be difficult.

I think that it's important for patients to understand their what is happening with their health and how they can actively participate in becoming and staying as healthy as possible. I have a good sense of humor which I think helps to put people at ease and makes it easier for them to ask questions. I enjoy taking care of the whole spectrum on family medicine including pediatrics, obstetrics, womens health, preventative medicine, and acute and chronic illness. My care is not just focused on medications, but more on my patients overall quality of life. I like to form a partnership with my patients to achieve this.
