About Me
Care Philosophy
- Dr. Mitchell Gardiner graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 1977 after graduating from Rutgers College. He served as a dental officer in the US Navy for three years and joined the practice of Dr. Jay Nickel in 1980 in Fair Haven. Dr. Gardiner has been practicing general dentistry since 1980, first in Fair Haven and now in Shrewsbury. After Dr. Nickel retired from the practice, Dr. Christopher Di Turi joined Dr. Gardiner and they have been partners for over 20 years. Dr. Gardiner has been on the teaching faculty of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and now the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine for the last twenty years. Dr. Gardiner has earned Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and has been selected as a Fellow of The American College of Dentists and The International College of Dentists. He lectures nationally to dentists and dental students on issues of standards of care in dentistry. Dr. Gardiner is married to his wife Debbie since 1977 and they have a daughter Nicole in Pittsburgh who is a lawyer in the family court system there and a son Ryan, who after serving in the Navy is presently working in The Department of Homeland Security in Washington, DC.
