Patient Reviews
Dec 24, 2022
I suffered from migraines since childhood. They were not diagnosed as migraines until I was in my 30s. Even then, I didn’t receive proper treatment and continued to suffer until I was referred to Dr. Rossen by my PCP for post-herpetic neuralgia (nerve pain after shingles). Dr. Rossen treated me for that condition, as well as migraines. He helped me find a triptan that works for me (everyone is different!), and now I can knock out a migraine in about 30 minutes with Eletriptan. Many people here are complaining about his demeanor. Here are my thoughts. Dr. Rossen earned both a PhD and an MD. Those are both significant accomplishments. He knows his stuff. And, yes, he can seem arrogant, dismissive, and rude. I believe he is probably on the autism spectrum. As a retired professor who worked with many students on the spectrum, I respect the way their brains can work. Most people on the spectrum are highly focused on their areas of interest. That is Dr. Rossen. Isn’t that what you want?

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
