Care Philosophy

Dr. Horner takes a ``whole person`` approach to medicine, treating the entire person rather than just the symptoms. A former collegiate wrestler at Penn State, Dr. Horner enjoys working with athletes and weekend warriors alike. He strives to help patients get back to the activities they love — whether that's playing with grandchildren or completing a triathlon. He also has a passion for travel and has paired this love with his medical background through several, volunteer, medical mission trips. He set up the first electrodiagnostic labs in Zambia at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, providing access to diagnostic testing that was previously not available in order to help treat various neurological disorders. ``Getting patients back to doing the things they love is what drives me, and what I find to bethe most rewarding aspect of my career.``
