Dr. Safran is the sole practitioner at Sawkill Family Medicine where I have been a patient for over 30 years. That is a long time. He well knows my medical history and probably a lot more than I realize about me as a person as it is all wrapped up in my health. In times of need for acute and/or specialized care he has guided me through the options and the maze of specialists typically part of large impersonal corporate money mill medical facilities. His kind of immediate individual care is both invaluable and is generally a remnant of the bygone so called "Golden Era of Medicine" but in this case it still does flourish. And for that I am thankful.

  • I see all my patients myself in unhurried 30 minute visits.  Patients are given my personal email and answering service phone number. My two employees have worked with me for over 20 years.  

    We aspire to develope trust and  a longterm caring relationship with our patients, so you will feel confident in our ability to provide comprehensive primary care.
