I recently had thyroid cancer surgery with Dr. Kupperfman at MDA in December 2020. Your initial cancer surgery is extremely important to your recovery and treatment plan. Choosing the “right” surgeon is paramount. Having said that, I cannot recommend Dr. Kupperfman strongly enough if you find yourself needing a thyroid cancer surgeon. He is absolutely the best at what he does. I hand picked him & I’m so thankful that I did! My scan yesterday showed that he was able to capture 100% of my cancer so I did not require the RAI treatment! This is huge and the result of the excellent surgery that he did on me.
