In 2007, Dr. Dayton did a 17 hour surgery on our daughter who at that times was 15 years old. She has UC so bad, that he created a J-Pouch. He came in her room and said " Well you know what Carissa? " You don't have Colitis anymore." Her and I both broke down crying. It took her awhile to get use to the temporary colostomy bag she had for 3 months while her j-pouch had time to heal. Thank you Dr. Dayton for being that kind of Dr. who takes the time with your patients and their crazy mother.
