I was burned severely in a gasoline explosion and was sent to Grossman Burn Center in Research Medical Center in Kansas City. I cannot say enough about this organization! Dr. Garcia, her staff, the nurses, everyone with whom I worked were amazing! Dr. Garcia is a wonderful healer who takes a personal interest in each patient and truly cares about her patients. She takes personal responsibility about the outcome and will walk with you through the pain and healing with great empathy and an amazing bedside manner. Once you leave the Burn Center, you are never alone following your release with the Grossman Burn Clinic a phone call away! At the Burn Clinic Kristen, Bob and Joanna share Dr. Garcia’s empathic nature and truly care about you! I don’t remember all the names but I made several new friends during my stay! Thank You Joey, Anthony, Kaley, Michael, Jarod, and all the other unnamed angels, I am old and my name memory is not good! You all made a tough time a lot better! Thanks!
